Community & Operations Director

Eating disorders, disordered eating, weight-neutral approach to health concerns, diabetes, CKD, and PCOS.
A video all about Sarah:
Sarah earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Health with a minor in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University. After working for three years as a medical assistant for a neurosurgeon’s practice in Houston, she returned to school to earn a second Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship both through the University of Houston. Sarah worked her way through school at a medical practice specializing in the medical management of eating disorders. Here she discovered her passion for working with eating disorder clients and realized it was the perfect blend of neuroscience and nutrition.
Sarah specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating, and also loves working with clients with other health concerns like diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hyperlipidemia, and PCOS while using a weight-neutral approach. Sarah is being supervised by Jill Sechi, MS, RDN, LD, CEDRD-S to obtain her certification as an eating disorder specialist. She also was promoted to the role of Community & Operations Director in January 2022 to support the staff and growth of WC&NT!
Upon request, Sarah can offer a faith-based approach to her clients to help incorporate Christian values into the discovery of their relationship with food and body image issues.
Outside of work, Sarah uses music and singing as an outlet for stress management and self-care. She loves to spend hours playing on her very out-of-tune piano, and volunteers as the choir director at her church. She also has a strong passion for world-mission work which ignited after a medical mission trip to Kenya during her undergraduate studies, and hopes to seize all opportunities to incorporate this into her practice.
